Begin Again Living Ministries (B.A.L.M.) is a non-profit ministry and Derrick is an ordained minister and chaplain who has served law enforcement and the hospice community providing emotional and spiritual support to families in their homes, senior living centers, skill nursing facilities and hospitals. He is a certified grief counseling specialist, professional life coach, motivational speaker, and author.
Chaplain Derrick conducts bereavement support groups and speaking engagements throughout the United States and global through Zoom meetings and personal appearances at conventions and churches upon request.
After serving in ministry for over 35 years. Chaplain Derrick was encouraged by hospice families and their friends to start an online spiritual support service and bible study group to provide emotional and spiritual support. Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays we meet online through Zoom by video or phone. Feel free to sign up and join. BALM also provide chaplaincy, coaching for life, coaching for caregivers, celebration of life services, grief and loss support, officiate funerals & weddings.
BALM is a donation-based program that offers professional spiritual and emotional care outside of the healthcare systems that normally cover those costs. I provide chaplain services at no charge so when you’re in crisis and could really use a chaplain, we don’t even have to talk about money.
We can also be creative about how to finance coaching or subsequent grief services. My vision is to be an affordable resource that will be so worth it that you’ll feel great about the price, and you’ll be able to receive the one-on-one personal coaching you want and need.
